Course Descriptions
This course aims to provide an up-to-date analytical framework for illustrating current events of international trade and finance and bringing the web excitement of international economics into the classroom. The first half of the course will be devoted to understand the classical as well as modern theories of international trade, trade policy and international economic integration. The second half will focus on international finance and macroeconomics of open economy, understanding the difference between fixed and flexible exchange rate systems, balance of payments and international monetary problems.
