Course Descriptions
This course aims to prepare the student for a successful business career with a broad understanding of the importance and complexity of strategic decisions and the need to integrate other aspects of business operations in the decisions, which determine the future direction and effectiveness of an organisation. As the course focuses on the skills required of a general manger in diagnosing and finding solutions for critical problems in complex business situations. Discussions will emphasise the organisation as a whole. To achieve this goal, integration of the knowledge gained in previous courses and an awareness of the impact of the external forces, and of actions by the firm and its rivals on the firm's strategies are crucial.
