Course Descriptions

This course is an introduction to data analysis in the field of social sciences. The purpose of this course is to provide basic understanding and background essential to the learning of applied data science and statistics skills. The material will cover both descriptive and inferential techniques for analysing multivariate, categorical, and continuous data with the primary objective being two-fields: (1) relaying the underlying theories, appropriate applications, and limitations of various procedures; (2) using statistical software packages to properly analyse the interpret results.
