Biological determinists and religious arguments claimed about the by-born nature of male and female whereas feminists and social scientists emphasized the social and cultural construction of gender and sexuality. This subject address topics from the debate including “Masculinity vs. Femininity”, “Politics of Sexuality”, “Rise of Feminism”, “Love, Marriage and Family”, “Women and Gender across China”, “Western Interpretation about Chinese Women”, “Chinese Man and Tobacco Consumption”, etc.
