Course Descriptions
This course aims to introduce economics students to more advanced mathematical methods which are commonly used in economics literature. The topics covered will be linear algebra, integration, second-order differential equations, second-order difference equations, calculus of variations, control theory, discrete time optimisation, and topology. The course will provide solid mathematical foundations to students for further studies in economics.
