Course Descriptions
This course introduces students to the nature and characteristics of food and beverage business from the perspectives of customers, product and operation. The student will identify the growth of the food and beverage service industry, their classification and systems of operation; the nature of customer demand and explain the importance of the consumer-product relationship as a function of the business environment. Furthermore, students will be able to analyse business operation of food and beverage industries management, and evaluate key issues in restaurant and bar management.
