Course Descriptions

The aims and objectives of this course are: 1) To foster an appreciation of contemporary photo imaging forms and concepts through a practical, analytical and critical approach. 2) To introduce practical knowledge of photo-imaging and techniques of visual presentation along with photographic language and visual theories. 3) To develop students’ knowledge, skills and understanding through the making of photographs and digital images that lead to and demonstrate conceptual and technical accomplishment. 4) To develop students’ knowledge, skills and understanding that lead to increasingly accomplished critical and historical investigations of photography and digital imaging.
