Course Descriptions

The aims and objectives of this course are: 1) To cover the fundamental theory and practice of cinematography and lighting for film and video production. 2) To introduce basic and advanced digital video cinematography techniques for both studio and field. 3) To learn and use the language of cinema and television, such as shot sizes, composition, camera movements, audio, and lighting. 4) To work in group project which provides each student with professional team-work skills that can be applied to all aspects of the professional world.
