Course Descriptions
This course provides a general understanding of the principles and applications of biotechnological techniques in environmental monitoring, pollution control and removal of contaminants, particularly in environmental biomonitoring, biodegradation and bioremediation, biofuel production and waste water treatment. In addition, it introduces specific applications of biotechnology in microbiological wastewater treatment, bioremediation and ecological engineering.
